I have to admit, that I avoided the latest (2.1.127+) kernels because of
the problems reported with the scheduler stall. After all, I don't have that
much time to test.

I'm very curious to see whether those people with problems report that your
patch does fix things.
Will you create a diff against 2.1.129? I think it'd make things easier for
me, but also for Linus and a lot of other people.
