[oops] 2.2.17 + ide + pcsnd

Dear All;

        First, I dont know if this is worth anything since I have andre's
ide patch, and the pc speaker sound device patch applied. But here it is
anyway.

        Got this oops applying a patch to a kernel tree.

        Patch was stuck in the D state. lsof showed it had open a tmp file
in /tmp. 'ls /tmp' or 'touch /tmp/pig' locked in D state. Load average went
up by one for every process locked. System otherwise ok. Unable to reproduce
after reboot.

        If anyone wants more info, or for me to do something just ask.

(probably unrelated :
        The disk /tmp is on is a little off. It got 'bumped', and a few sectors
are messed up. This is what you see when you try to access them _with_ the ide
patch. Without the ide patch (2.2.17 virgin), the machine simply locks up hard.
Also, I have a file that 2.2.17 virgin locks up hard if you try to cat it.
(always) With the ide patch, the file is accessed without complaint
