3c905C/INVALID CHECKSUM 002f* ac4 kernel

I started seeing this error message on booting ac4 kernel. It is definitely
not there in the 2.3.99-pre8 kernel. I tried ac10 but cant boot because
of the AICxxx problem (I have adaptec 2940U2) so cant tell if
 its still there or not.

I have a a 3Com 3c905c 10/100 NIC. Other than this complaint on boot up, the
networking _seems_ to operate fine after that.

 Regards,

 Gene/
