My SuSE 6.1 compiles 2.2 kernels with egcs. Add -v2.7.2 or something
like that to /usr/src/linux/Makefile for "CFLAGS". (For an example,
take a peek in the 2.0.36 kernel sources that come with SuSE 6.1....)
