Yes, the next version of LILO will let you select an access mode where
you can reach up to 8 GB, possibly more (depending on where I run out
of space for the sector descriptor table). Note however that this will
add some limitations when using floppies. It seems that nothing ever
gets done right in the BIOS :-(
