Last kenernel was 2.2.3. (dont remember if I had any ac patches on it)

I have lp compiled in, not as a module. I do have the ieee1284 support
compiled in also.

x x <*> Parallel printer support x x
x x [*] Support IEEE1284 status readback x x

I do not have scsi (aka, no parralel iomega)
