Hi,

1. the 2.2.1 crashes very often on my system. 2.0.x worked flawlessly.
The crash seems to occur with heavy disk activity (under X, or when
using dpkg, or when fscking at bootup ..). I have an ATAPI disk.

2. I recall having had the problem with 2.1.xxx, too. Sorry I cannot

3. keywords: kernel, ide driver?

4. Kernel: Linux version 2.2.1 (root@helena) (gcc version 2.7.2.3) #6 SMP Mon
Feb 8 17:05:52 CET 1999

5. sorry I can not supply you with an Oops message since at the system
locks up immediately so it cannot log the message

6. sorry no particular way to reproduce the problem (occurs sporadically
but more often when disk activity is involved)
