No need for xterms.. a 100x37x87Hz text mode really looks nice, and is as
relaxing as 80x25 (at least once you tweak the mode enough).

Well, since the problem with ps are [gp]ids, how about making it so that
pids only go over 99999 once, say, 24999 pids with number <99999 are used
at the same time, and similar for 999999? I mean, even with 32 bits,
nobody should relay on pids not wrapping around..

(a humble opinion: Right now I don't need don't a 32bit [gpu]id, but I
don't think any of the people who do would like to hear that it's not
being done because it spoils ps formatting.
