Linux-2.1.129 no good on alpha

Still no good.

PC164 w/ 256Meg
Adaptec AIC-7881U
S3 Inc. Vision 968
Digital Equipment Corporation DECchip 21041 [Tulip Pass 3] (rev 11)
3c509 (but no traffic here)

It eventually hangs up tight. It seems like it always happen when there
is some sort of I/O traffic happening. Always, when it happens it leaves
the clock messed up.

2.2? *sigh* I wish I had more time to spend on this.
