i'm happy to report that 129 works well on:
PPro/200, 64M, isaPnP sb, aic7xxx, eepro100, egcs-2.91.57.
i even watched ESB from my 12x plexdor. however there is a
small complaint from RPC:

portmap: RPC call returned error 111
RPC: task of released request still queued!
RPC: (task is on xprt_pending)
portmap: RPC call returned error 111
RPC: task of released request still queued!
RPC: (task is on xprt_pending)
lockd_up: makesock failed, error=-111
portmap: RPC call returned error 111
RPC: task of released request still queued!
RPC: (task is on xprt_pending)
lockd_up: no pid, 2 users??

nevertheless it does the job...
