If you really mean 2.2.x there, not 2.3.x, then I agree, especially for ISDN,
which will take some time.

It would be a shame for the nfsd fixes to miss the 2.2.0 boat, though. It seems
to be working fine now with HJ's patch set, which has been around for a long
time, and has been thoroughly tested. The patches are part of HJ's knfsd
package, and installing them is part of the documented procedure for using
knfsd.

However, if that's what you decide, then shall I resend them all on the day you
release 2.2.0?

I saw a patch on linux-kernel which involved commenting out hard_idle(). Was
that it, or was it elsewhere?
