2.1.129 on a LX164 alpha

OK, I just compiled 2.1.129 on this LX164 system using egcs-1.0.3a and
it compiled beautifully. I used the same options I've used since
2.1.1XX and they have all worked fine. But when I boot this one, it
hangs immediately after it detects the floppy controller. The next
line is the NET3 startup...see attached NORMAL messages to
/var/log/messages:
