5229/1533/1531 is Aladdin IV+ (TXpro) chipset, so it seems like
your kernel identifies the V as a IV+. (I do have a IV+ chipset
on my board, and I was the one who reported its identification
to be included in the kernel recognition).

I remember that when I sent the mail about the IV+, somebody said
that there is already a conflict (or an insureness) about two
Acer devices sharing the same ID. Sorry, I lost that mail.

Wait a second.. My "real" M5229 says "[...] back-to-back
capable. IRQ 15. Master Capable. [...]". It seems that
on your Aladdin V there is no IRQ used/detected? Maybe
we could use this to detect the right chipset? (Output
from 2.0.36pre15)
