If this being the case, then is it not possible to accommodate the
LiS people by shipping STREAMS with the kernel?
Sure, STREAMS might suck - but thats not a good enough reason to
exclude it from the kernel if it does indeed provide benefits to a
non-zero percentage of people.
Although, I think we are still waiting on _necessary_ uses of
STREAMS other than Netware aren't we?
