If UDI drivers become the norm, hardware manufacturers will tend to
release only Intel-specific UDI drivers, just as they now tend to
release only MS drivers. This leads to the demise of Ultra-Penguin,
Alpha-Linux, &c. Intel wins. Everyone else loses.
