Hi,

I am the fellow who had mucho problems with my P6DNE dual PPro
box that had an AHA2940 and six SCSI devices. Well, now with AHA3985
and its three channels and its very capable cable (with pass-through
terminator), I am doing just fine now, just so to say thanks to Doug,
again, and to say that my machine even now is doing RAID just fine.
Currently I have a 5400rpm Hawk (which does about 5M sustained) and a
7200rpm Barracuda (which does a bit more than 6M) and striped md0 and
md1 volumes are doing around 8M sustained [all the above from hdparm
with -tT]. A direct copy of a 1.2G /home partition took about 6min,
which came to 200MB per minute. It used to take about 10 minutes.

Thanks for the great driver Doug!

B.Y.
