I have been seeing loop weirdities too.

I have these entries in /etc/fstab

/dos/e/cd_image /mnt/image ext2 loop=/dev/loop/0 0 0
/root/.graphics /mnt/np ext2 noauto,loop=/dev/loop/1,encryption=XOR 0 0

And after umounting, an fsck on the image (particularly cd_image) reports
test file busy. This is with, or without devfs. It was happening whether
I losetup and mount the devices explictely, or just use /etc/fstab.

Any ideas?
