Ok, it seemed to me a little strange that the patch wasn't in a GUS-specific
code.

A curious answer, especially coming from you :)

I'll try ALSA.

P.S.: I am running 2.1.111 in a P200 (in fact, an overclocked P150), and I
managed to boot with 4MB memory (3MB tooked too much in finding modules
dependencies). Bravo for the kernel team!
