Set up a job to output something to the screen infrequently (5 minute
intervals) and let the screen blank. Then wait for the additional output to
appear.... The stuff that was blanked stays blanked, but the new text is
displayed for all to see (and is never blanked) pressing a key recovers the
blank text as normal !
