OK, some of what I just wrote is rubbish, but some is actually OK. The
bit that's bullshit is the inconsistent versioning, cos I forgot that I
had recompiled with the Vortex IN the kernel due to it not wanting to
load as a module, so the symbols that do have versioning but not smp are
wrong cos that module wasn't compiled with SMP.

However, the bits that are buggered up for real are the global_cli,
__global_restore_flags, and __global_save_flags, as for some reason
these don't get ANY versioning info attached in several modules, even
though the other symbols do and even though /proc/ksyms does... argh.

Also, the klogd problem stands! I guess it could be vaguely related,
but I really haven't a clue ;-)
