I've upgraded my P-133 to 2 x P-233MMX and I no longer get zombie
processes. I did not recompile my kernel, so there still seem to be
some issues with a SMP kernel on a UP machine. The motherboard is the
(now infamous) gigabyte 586DX. I had the BIOS configured to turn the
IO-APIC _on_, even with a single processor. Was this the problem, maybe?
