This is a bit off-topic, but it has been plagueing me for some time now...
After adding some ram, a new video card and new ethernet card to my box
about a year and a half ago, my floppy drive quit working properly (it
just got errors galore)... I'm not sure exactly when it started but those
three changes were the only ones that possibly contributed to it. I played
around with the ram a bit using the old chips and new but that couldnt fix
it. The only thing that fixes it is using an ISA FDC instead of my
built-in FDC... The mb has been changed and the drive is brand new, but I
dont get one of those "post-1991 82077" messages... Any idea why it doesnt
see it like that (or am I just totally off here)...
