Greets..

Hope this message finds you all well..

Since 2.1.96, I've had problems with the aic7xxx drivers. 2.1.95 and
earlier will communicate with my hard drive, while 2.1.96 and above will
not.. Here is the excerpt from my boot messages for 2.1.97, with
(apparently new) aic7xxx drivers from 2.1.97 source tree (same kind of
thing happens with 2.1.98, with 2.1.98's original drivers):

And below is the same section from 2.1.98 with the scsi drivers from
2.1.95, same config:

Partition check:

If someone can help me figure out what is either wrong with my setup or
what I need to do to my hardware to get the new aic7xxx drivers working
with my hardware, they will have my undying admiration until the end of
Time...

Thanks!
