What recent 2.1.x kernel is stable enough to use?

Can someone suggest a recent development kernel that is stable enough
to run? I want to play with some of the features found in recent kernels.
Right now I'm using 2.0.33, and my system meets all the prerequisites
listed in the 2.1.85 "Changes" file.

Please reply directly, and I'll summarize if there's enough interest.
