2.1.85 alpha -- ide-disk modue doesn't load

Linux kernel 2.1.85 on alpha PC164. I configured the IDE disk drivers
as a module, and have the following error:

[root@icarus steve]# insmod ide-disk
/lib/modules/2.1.85/block/ide-disk.o: unresolved symbol ide_wait_cmd

I'm too swamped to look into it right now, but I suspect it is something
trivial.
