Crash in 2.0.31-pre10

Yes, I know it's pre-10, but I can't reboot this machine too often, and
this...

This machine serves web pages to the world from a server (it mounts via
NFS). It also mounts a remote Win95 machine via smbfs... Its only network
card is a tulip 21140-AC running in 100Mb full duplex.

The kernel did NOT reset, despite "panic=30" in lilo.conf... :-(
