After having switched from 2.0.30 to the pre-6 version of 2.0.31 (pre7
wasn't an option due to the broken NE network adapter support), my system
log file is full of messages like
Aug 20 16:01:37 www kernel: ICMP redirect from 130.225.104.1
Aug 20 16:02:02 www last message repeated 34 times
Aug 20 16:02:38 www last message repeated 9 times
Aug 20 16:03:37 www last message repeated 9 times
Aug 20 16:04:37 www last message repeated 9 times
Aug 20 18:02:54 www kernel: ICMP redirect from 130.225.104.1
Aug 20 18:15:48 www kernel: ICMP redirect from 130.225.104.1
[etc.]
130.225.104.1 is my gateway (the computer generating the messages above has
IP# 130.225.106.235).
Why is this suddenly happening? - Is it a sign of trouble or just a new
logging 'feature' in 2.0.31-preX?
