True, but it is an "inert" new feature, meaning that if you don't
compile it in, it won't affect you. The only modifications outside
the autofs proper that I had to do in 2.0.2x/2.0.30 were a few minor
bug fixes, such as __fput not being exported to modules. Those *are*
bug fixes, and should be included anyway. Even if Linus chooses
against including the autofs source in 2.0.31, it should be possible
to make a kernel module by simply doing "make kernel" in the autofs
distribution, without having to deal with kernel patches.
