smbfs - silent reboot at 2.1.51

I tried to use smbfs at 2.1.51 (2.1.51 patch changes some lines there... so i gave it a try)

i tried

minitiger:~/ modprobe smbfs.o
minitiger:~/ smbmount //tiger/d$ /dos/smb -U Administrator -c minitiger -P password

to mount a Windows NT 4.0 share

and i got a silent reboot

after fscking there was nothing in the syslog....

btw...
does anybody know how to send a winpopup message to a win nt 4.0 box with
smbclient . I've messed arount with the command line option long enough and
all i get is a connection refused
