multiple ext2fs partitions in one dos partition ?

Is it possible yet to create a single Linux partition on your PC and
split that up into multiple "pieces", such as /, /usr and swap without
needing to use 3 DOS partitions ? I've noticed that it will attempt
to detect this when used on other partition types (BSD/SVR4)...
