Hi,

I've had the same problem for about a year. I use ipxd (ipxripd 0.7)
inorder to "route" ipx from a computer farm connected to one ethernet card
to the rest of the universities campus on another ethernet card. My
problem is that after some time this stops working and from inside the
farm one can't see other campus servers anymore.

/proc/net/ipx_route has around 730 entries. At the time when this was
working well it had around 400 entries.
I thought maybe everything "stalls" because of load so i nice ipxd with
-10. Witht he same results.

So my question is. Does this happen to anyone else witha big ipx network?
Are there ipx bridging patches available? Any ideas?
This has happened from the beginning which was with around 1.3.50.
my current setup is Kernel 2.0.29, libc-5.4.23, ipx-ripd 0.7.

The best solution would be ipx bridging as the linux doesn't need access
to ipx (although it's nice).

I'd appreciate any help

Thanks,

Andi
