Token Ring....

I'm not sure if this is a good list to ask this on, if there is a better
place, please let me know.
I'm trying desperately to get Token Ring working on a box here, but I keep
getting back the following errors: "tr0: unknown command 08(FF) in arb".
I've tried like three different cards, and no go. :( Any help on this will
be greatly appreciated. Here are the kernel messages:
