I'm a bit confused about this...

With 2.0.28, My disks are:
hda: ST31720A, 1626MB w/0kB Cache, LBA, CHS=826/64/63
hdb: FX001DE, ATAPI CDROM drive
hdc: WDC AC31200F, 1222MB w/64kB Cache, LBA, CHS=2484/16/63

(its a compudyne dx/4 100, hda is a 1600 MB seagate, hdc is a 1200 MB WD Caviar).

I haven't done anything special with the geometry (it autodetects in the bios).

[I was under the impression hda has 128 kbyte of cache, but I'm not very
concerned about it].

Anyway, I get:
hda: hda1 hda2 < hda5 > hda3 hda4
hdc: [PTBL] [621/64/63] hdc2 hdc3

Why did 2484/16/63 become 621/64/63? Why isn't hda PTBL?
What is PTBL supposed to be?
