For the faint of heart having problems with this, I just thought I would
let you know that I am currently compiling Apache 1.2b1 and will make a
report to everyone in a few days when I have had a chance to beat it up.

This problem was reported to Apache on the 3rd of December and the problem is
supposedly fixed in 1.2b1 (if you dare). :-)
