Also, I think it does a heuristic with the filename to see if you "really
meant to use that capitalization pattern" and mangles it if it feels like
it. For example HiThere stays as-is but HITHERE becomes "hithere" or
something. I would guess this is done at interface level, ie programs can
save files however, but I haven't checked this.

BTW It's been a while :) so I'm not sure about the extent of this...
