Yes, it might make sense although embedded wants to disable CONFIG_BUG
on systems which cannot report errors:

  â CONFIG_BUG:
  â
  â Disabling this option eliminates support for BUG and WARN, reducing
  â the size of your kernel image and potentially quietly ignoring
  â numerous fatal conditions. You should only consider disabling this
  â option for embedded systems with no facilities for reporting errors.
  â Just say Y.
