I see these too, under 2.2.17pre5 + bridge + tcp_vegas. The machine is
a K6 with 32M of RAM. The messages seem to come at times when cron
jobs kick in. I tried fiddling with the /proc/sys/vm entries but no
help.
I already had a situation when the machine was killed by this -
messages flooding the serial console, no way to log in (no magic sysrq
etc. because the box has no keyboard/vga) and the only remedy was the
reset button. I _think_ that was 2.2.16.
