Ok, this may be vaguely related...

On my thinkpad 380XD with a 3Com 3ccfe575bt card, I can only hibernate
on 2.2.14 (ok, the redhat version of the kernel... must get around to
upgrading that...) if I do one of the following:

1. cardctl eject the 3com card.
2. unplug the mains power to the laptop.

Do other people find that unplugging the mains power allows their laptops
to suspend/hibernate correctly with 3com Megahertz cards as well?
