Hello,
- I've just upgraded to 2.2.16, and I encountered a problem with trying to play
an audio CD, with cdplay (2.1.5) or gdc (2.94-helix2).
Kernel Messages are:
kernel: hdc: packet command error: status=0x51 {DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
kernel: hdc: packet command error: error=0x54
kernel: ATAPI device hdc:
kernel: Unknown Error Type: No sense data -- (Sense Key=0x00)
kernel: No additional sense information -- (asc=0x00, ascq=0x00)
kernel: The failed "Play Audio MSF" packet command was:
kernel: "47 00 00 00 02 00 32 0a 34 00 00 00 "
- Everything is OK with 2.2.14.
- cdparanoia and cdda2wav are working.
- Iso 9660 CD-R are OK.
I use a Dell XPS 450, (PII 450M), 256M and a bundled CDU701 cdrom.
ide-cdrom version 4.58
does somebody have the same problem ? Any Idea ?
Thanks in advance.
