wait_for_cmd_done timeout is a bad sign. It means that your network card
may stop all operations after that.

You wasn't very clear about the hangs. Does keyboard still work?
Please be more exact.
Do you see these messages all the time, before the "hang" happens?
Do you see any other messages just before "hang"?
Which particular Intel chip is in use? Send all driver initialization
messages.
