I have been running 2.2.14 since a few days after it's release on Intel
and Sparc machines, and I'm very happy with it.
I have managed to avoid 2.2.15 totaly, couse of it's very known problems.
Now, I need to upgrade, couse of the fixes for the capabilities bug et al.
I have 3 options:
- 2.2.16 stock
- 2.2.16 + Alan's 2.2.16combo patch
- 2.2.17pre1
What made me afraid at this point is 2.2.16 being called a security patch.
Is it 2.2.15 + security patches only ? Or does it fix 2.2.15 stability
problems ?
I'm running in a production environment, so I need a stable Kernel. I
only don't know which of the above 3 I should use ...
TIA,
