I must be seeing the exact same thing. I just tried -test1 none of the
-ac patches yet.

After 3 lock ups I just gave up and headed back to -pre6 (haven't tried
anything higher than that).

I'm running -test1 at work with a tulip card with no trouble with just
about the same config otherwise.

If this is supposed to be fixed in any of the later -ac patches I'll give
them a shot and report back. Any other way, I'll try all the official
releases and report either way.
