2.4.0test1 crash may be scsi related ?

        Hi,

I've had a big crash today with the 2.4.0test1 .I was over the network, with 2
xterm on my box. On the first one was the output of cdrecord, and on the other
one, linux on the Hercules emulator (S390 emulator). Thus, I suspect that the
machine was heavily loaded ;). However, when I was back on the box, nothing on
the screen, nothing happens, even with caps lock (no leds), and the SysRq key
doesn't work either...

After a hard reset, I have the following in the log:
"
May 29 18:05:16 localhost -- MARK --
May 29 18:20:08 localhost kernel: sym53c875-0-<6,*>: target did not report SYNC.
May 29 18:20:57 localhost kernel: sym53c875-0-<6,*>: target did not report SYNC.
May 29 19:45:33 localhost syslogd 1.3-3#33: restart.
"
It may not be related, but it worth mention, I think.

The hardware used is a Athlon-500 cpu with MSI motherboard (6167), 128MoRAM,
Tekram DC390U scsi interface and a Yamaha 4260 CDRW drive. I will try to
reproduce the crash, but it seems quite difficult (high load+ scsi
transferts...)
