problem with remembering video mode after 2nd reboot

Hi there!

When i added this line to my lilo.conf everthing worked fine after the
reboot, but when i switch off my box over night and turn it on the next
day the screen appears black after the lilo bootprompt. (yes i did bash#
lilo :)

any idea?

(kernel is 2.2.14 with mga g100 card)
