Slab poisoning (enabled in pre8) detected some problems
in both UHCI host controller drivers (usb-uhci.c and uhci.c).
These have been fixed in pre8++ patches and in pre9.

That's my guess about your problem. Try pre9 and let us
know if you still have problems please.
