USB/Kodak DC240i problem (2.3.99pre8)

Morning all,

Wondering whether anyone has come across this, running 99pre8 on a i810
chipset trying to connect a dc240i to the USB. Everything is fine,
right up to the point where I turn on the camera, at which point the
system locks dead requiring a hard reset.

Has anyone any ideas?

(Yes I notice pre9 is out, and I'll be trying that tonight :)
