Correction to my previous post: the problem has occured with 1.20 today.
Same hang at boot with "eth0: card reports no RX buffers" and so on.
Seems to prefer mornings... I've downgraded to 1.18, fifteen reboots,
no problems so far.

I've been thinking of swapping the hard drives with a previous-generation
PowerEdge 2300 which has had no problems for a year (kernel 2.2.14, which
doesn't do SMP on the 2400's), but there are a few week-long simulations
running on it, so I have to wait.

Any ideas?

                                                Thank you,
                                                Cedric Ware.
