I did not look too close, but issue is like this:
__initcall() mechanism would be handy for 2.2.X. I do not think
there's easy way to emulate __initcall() on 2.2.X, is it?
And now: it would be nice for maestro to use module_init() and
module_exit(), which happens to need __initcall() internally. But that
would break 2.2.X, no?
