appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian Wright

Bug Report:

[1.] One line summary of the problem:
Kernel 2.2.12 oops related to kswapd.

[2.] Full description of the problem/report:
Recently had an PIII SMP machine running 2.2.12+knfsd1.4.7
crash due to a kernel oops. Problem appears memory related.
I believe the crash happened while Matlab-5.3 was running, though
there is no reproducible crash when the program is rerun after
the reboot.

[3.] Keywords (i.e., modules, networking, kernel):
kernel, oops, kswapd

[4.] Kernel version (from /proc/version):
Linux version 2.2.12 (root@django.ucsf.edu) (gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)) #2 SMP Mon Oct 18 18:16:37 PDT 1999

[5.] Output of Oops.. message (if applicable) with symbolic information
resolved (see Documentation/oops-tracing.txt)
