I am hardware engineer and I am fighting now with SDLC plus DMA mode of
Z85230. We could exchange some information since I am very deep inside
hardware of my Z85230 based card. I use 128 macrocell CPLD and static RAM
to pump data between ESCC, ISA bus and SRAM.
Are you interested in knowledge exchange ? I have some very hard to solve
problems and stupid Zilog's tech support can't even answer my questions and
redirects me to PDF files I know very well. It looks like Zilog employs
idiots :-) .. or Z85230 is shit as I started to suspect.
I am not a member of the list. I would like to find contact (working
e-mail) to Alan Cox because his mailbox bounces back my e-mails. I would be
happy to talt to anybody who can share some information about Z85230.
